The Croatian coast is generally considered to be the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. It has more than 1,100 islands - less than 100 of which are inhabited - stretching the length of its 1,700 km of Adriatic coastline, all surrounded by turquoise, crystal-clear waters.

With countless historic and picturesque harbours, towns and villages to explore - all along its coast and on its islands - Croatia provides the perfect destination for sailing holidays. It is unsurprising therefore that it draws enthusiasts from all over the world, particularly during the warm summer months, to sample what can only be described as world class.

In addition to sailing, all manner of other nautical activities are widely catered for - ranging from the budget to the super luxurious. These include Cruises, Motor and Sail yacht holidays and charter, wind surfing, kite surfing, water skiing as well as a wide variety of beach activities.

Whilst boating certainly dominates – particularly during the summer months - also extremely popular and readily available to visitors are cycling, fishing, water games (such as water polo) and many other outdoor pursuits. There is also considerable opportunity for Scuba diving, and Croatia boasts an enviable array of superb and carefully protected dive sites to cater for all interests and abilities.
